Joan is a Licensed Independent Social Worker who loves working with children and families. Joan believes that teamwork, clear communication, and a positive attitude can go a long way in helping children and families through difficult times. Joan’s special interests include anxiety, depression, trauma and family issues.
Joan is an Ankeny School-Based Therapist.

Joan loves spending time with her husband, two children and dog Daisy. Joan is an avid Iowa Hawkeye fan and loves watching Big Ten football and basketball. Her other interests include reading, being outside, and yoga.
