Kristine earned a Bachelor of Social Work degree from Luther College, and her Masters of Science in Counseling degree from Drake University.
Kristine enjoys working with a diverse group of adults and children 5+. Kristine specializes in depression, anxiety, and trauma, and enjoys helping clients address life transitions, identity, and spirituality. Tailored to meet the needs of every client, Kristine embraces humor, nature, movement, mindfulness/meditation, play and creative outlets, expressive arts techniques and various trauma-informed and cognitive-behavioral techniques. Kristine is trained in Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
Kristine sees clients in the Des Moines office.
The Fun Stuff…
In her free-time you’ll find Kristine spending time with her family, friends, and children. She also loves to travel, read, sing, cook, and spend as much time in the great outdoors as she possibly can! Kristine is also a Reiki Master, utilizing energy work to promote relaxation and healing.
