    • The Serious Stuff...

      Kelsey is a Des Moines native who received both her Bachelors and Masters in Social Work from the University of Iowa.  She enjoys working with children, adolescents, individuals, and families (ages 3 and up). Kelsey has experience working with children and adolescents who have intellectual disabilities. Areas of competence include mood disorders, attachment issues, anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, trauma, loss, and grief. Kelsey uses a client-centered, strength based approach and exhibits skills in cultural humility, family systems theory, cognitive behavioral therapy, and play therapy.

      Kelsey is based out of the Des Moines office.

    • The Fun Stuff...

      In her free time, Kelsey enjoys spending time with family and friends, going on adventures, traveling and being a couch potato.  Besides being a social worker (amongst other things) Kelsey is also an artist who uses drawing and painting as a means for self-care and expression. She also loves gardening and spending time with her energetic dog and mischievous cat.
