    • The Serious Stuff...

      Madison Flattery is a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) providing office and school based individual therapy services out of our Ankeny location for ages 12 years and up. Madison uses person-centered, trauma informed care, and evidence-based treatment methods to address a variety of issues. She specializes in treating general anxiety, depression, recovery of abuse and other trauma, difficulty in adjusting to life changes, grief and loss, emotional regulation, and behavioral modification. Madison focuses on developing client-centered goals to empower and engage her clients in working toward real, positive change to improve overall daily functioning. Madison primarily uses cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), brief treatment methods, and positive psychology techniques to help you meet your goals. With the understanding that individuals do not exist in isolation, Madison can assist in identifying additional resources and referrals as needed to meet your goals in therapy.
      Madison has been practicing since 2015 having earned her master's in Social Work (MSW) at Washington University in St. Louis and having obtained a bachelor's degree in Psychology from Iowa State University. Madison sees clients at Northview Middle School in Ankeny and the Ankeny office.
    • The Fun Stuff...

      Madison is an introvert by nature and enjoys finding relaxing activities to engage in such as reading, relaxing outdoors (weather permitting), and watching her favorite shows. Spending time with family and friends and creating lifelong memories is most important to her, especially with her two children. When able, Madison loves to travel, especially to tropical locations, with Hawai'i being her favorite travel spot thus far.
