The Serious Stuff…
Alaina is working toward her Master’s degree through Aurora University in Social Work and she excited to be interning with LifeWorks for her final year! She worked at Woodward Academy for 4 years where she helped teens navigate different life challenges. Additionally, she has over 3 years of experience working with children in foster care. Alaina enjoys working with teenagers, adolescents, and young adults who struggle with anxiety, depression, life challenges and transitions, trauma, body image, and other mental health disorders, as well as LGBTQIA+ youth.
Alaina sees clients at Parkview Middle School in Ankeny and at our Ankeny Office Location.
The Fun Stuff…
Alaina is from Ames and graduated from Iowa State, so she is a devoted Cyclones fan! She spends a lot of time at games and tailgating with her family. Alaina also loves going to the movies, playing volleyball, trying out new coffee shops, card games and crafting.
