The Serious Stuff
Annie received her Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from Simpson College and her Masters of Science in Counseling from Drake University. Annie enjoys working with pre-teens through older adults on areas around depression, anxiety, identity, grief and loss, trauma, and life transitions. Annie likes to focus on peoples’ strengths in session and likes to use art, music, and movement techniques to help people communicate their experience in different modalities.
Annie works out of the Des Moines office as well as Centennial High School in Ankeny.
The Fun Stuff
Annie enjoys being creative: painting, drawing, creating dance routines, mixing music, and singing. She loves being an auntie to her awesome nieces and nephews, and will never turn down a Disney movie night. Annie likes to spend her free time volunteering for organizations and mentoring teenagers. Despite her familial Denver Bronco upraising, Annie is not a huge football fan, but does enjoy fall, hot tea, and her mom’s notorious football nachos.
