The Serious Stuff…
Jacqueline’s clinical approach is client centered and trauma informed. Through assessment, she approaches a presented issue through multiple lenses in order to appropriately apply treatment. Some examples include introducing new perspectives, focusing on self-discovery and self-awareness, and building/strengthening emotion regulation skills. Jacqueline believes the client-therapist relationship is best built on transparency and working together to build the session and treatment plan that is tailored to the client’s needs. Jacqueline is also a Certified Autism Informed Professional.

The Fun Stuff…
She strongly believes in the healing and energizing properties of nature. If the sun is out (and it is warm) she can be found outside, whether that be working in the garden, biking, or hiking. Jacqueline spends her free time with her husband, two dogs, and horse, as well as family in the area. Her other hobbies include reading, writing, and completing various house projects. Having lived in Cedar Rapids during her youth, she moved back to the area from Des Moines and looks forward to working with and assisting Ankeny and surrounding community.
